Douglas Wyant Joins Tetra Tech Architects & Engineers as Educational and Facilities Planner 

Ithaca, NY— Douglas Wyant has joined Tetra Tech as an Educational and Facilities Planner in our Ithaca, New York office. Doug has 28 years of experience in public education, including 12 as a Superintendent of Schools. Doug studied chemistry at Geneseo State University and holds a Master’s in Educational Administration from Brockport State University. Doug brings extensive educational experience and his primary focus will be to provide our clients with educational planning assistance, long range facilities planning assistance, and supporting them as their schools undergo architectural and engineering projects.

Prior to joining Tetra Tech Architects & Engineers, Mr. Wyant was superintendent of schools for Hornell City School District, Superintendent of Schools for Whitesville Central School District, and a principal in the Bradford Central School District. Prior to becoming an administrator he taught high school chemistry.  As part of his role as a superintendent, Mr. Wyant was directly involved with more than $80+ million in capital improvements for his districts over the last dozen years.
